The Institute for Quality of Life has released its Happy City index for the year, and Copenhagen, Denmark tops the list! They look at 82 indicators of happiness including: environment; economy; health; and mobility. Copenhagen ranks high due to its commitment to education, access to healthcare, and sustainability. Zurich came in second place, followed by Singapore. The highest-ranking American cities were New York and Minneapolis, which came in 17th and 30th place, respectively.
