New To Dating Apps? Here Is How To Get The Best Out Of It.

I missed the dating app era and I am so glad.  I don't always get social clues so I don't think that would go well for me.  But I do know many people who have met their boos on dating apps.  But where do you start?  How do you seem interested but not thirsty? Ask open ended questions about things they have publicly on their profile.  Do not do a deepdive and then start to ask them questions about things you've learned there.  ONLY things that are listed on your potential partners public profile. People love to talk about themselves, so if you can master that, you can busy in the dating app world.

Look at their photos and read their bio: Identify something unique or interesting about them and address it in your message.

Example: If they have a picture of a cool band t-shirt, you could ask, "Is that [band name]?".

Avoid generic greetings: "Hi" or "Hello" are not engaging.

Ask Open-Ended Questions:

Avoid yes/no questions: Encourage longer responses and deeper conversations

Examples:

"What's your favorite thing about (a place or activity mentioned in their bio)?"

"What's a fun fact about you?"

"If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?"

Share Your Interests and What You're Looking For:

Show them you're not just looking for a hookup and have genuine interests.

Example: "I'm a big fan of (shared interest), have you checked out (related event or product)?"

Be Genuine and Authentic:Your message should reflect your personality and interests.

Example: If you're into hiking, you could say, "I love hiking, have you been to any good trails lately?

Now go forth my friend and swipe til your heart is full!
