Can We Just Let Food Have Its Own Identity?

Walmart is launching a line of soda flavored bakery items.  On the rip right out the gate, I'm instantly irritated.  I don't love lemon chicken or anything that is 'flavored' any other flavor.  Does that make sense?  Walmart will be dripping mini bundt cakes and cupcakes in flavors like Dr Pepper, Hawaiian Punch, Orange Crush and 7Up.  Don't get me wrong, I do love a good 7UP bundt cake but I never ever thought of a Dr Pepper bundt cake.  Until now, thanks Walmart.  They haven't hit shelves yet, but I have some friends who tried them already and have very mixed reviews.  They're coming to Walmart soon and will start at around $3.58.
