School uniforms have been at the center of debate for so many years. People on one side saying that it squashes kids expresions of self, uniforms dont typically fit everyone universally. But then on the other side I hear uniforms take a lot of stress off of parents when it comes to getting people ready and out the door in the mornings. And we can all agree that a uniform commands a bit of respect and it just looks super nice. Here is where my beef is. What about the exceptionally large student or the incredibly tall kid. Uniforms biggest issue is the way they do not fit everyone universally and schools should take that into account as well. So what is the price difference? Uniforms are not necessarily less expensive but when it's a uniform, you have a general idea of what it will cost you. There is less drama with kids worrying about being in cool clothes like the other kids at school. But to be honest, a slay is a slay, uniform or not. Just another life lesson from Blair Waldorf.
